Is jy opgewonde? Is jy gevul met vreugde?
“Fairy tales” is iets wat ons elke dag mee te doen kry. Ons het groot geword met dit en ons vertel dit vir ons kinders. Ons gebruik hierdie fabels om sekere waarhede vir ons kinders te leer op ‘n kreatiewe manier. Wie hou nou nie van ‘n goeie storie nie. Stories wat so amazing klink maar ons weet voor ons siel dat nie die waarheid is nie. Want waar in jou lewe het jy al ‘n wolf gesien wat ‘n huis om blaas, of waar het jy al gesien varkies bou huise.
Fairy Tales is stories wat vertel word van onwerklike gebeurtenisse.
Jesus LEEF en dit is nie ‘n fairy tale nie. Ons weet dit vandag, ons glo dit vandag….MAAR…. hoeveel mense is daar vandag wat glad nie glo in die dood en opstanding van Jesus nie. Vir baie mense is dit net ‘n fairy tale. Vir baie mense is dit iets wat onwerklik is en wil hulle nie eers die geskiedkundige bewyse daarvan glo nie. Want mense het dit opgemaak. Klink bekend, nê? Klink soos die Fariseërs wat na pilatus toe gegaan het en gevra het om om die graf te beveilig want Sy dissipels gaan sy liggaam kom steel. Stories om die waarheid toe te smeer.
Maar prys die Here geen storie, geen klip, geen graf en geen weermag gaan Hom dood hou nie. Jesus LEEF!!! Hy het die dood oorwin.
Luk 24:1-12
1 But very early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. 2 They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. 3 So they went in, but they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes. 5 The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? 6 He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, 7 that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day.” 8 Then they remembered that he had said this. 9 So they rushed back from the tomb to tell his eleven disciples—and everyone else—what had happened. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and several other women who told the apostles what had happened. 11 But the story sounded like nonsense to the men, so they didn’t believe it. 12 However, Peter jumped up and ran to the tomb to look. Stooping, he peered in and saw the empty linen wrappings; then he went home again, wondering what had happened.
Die antwoord van die lewe word nie gevind in die dood nie, maar in die opstanding van Jesus. Die lewe is in Jesus.
Ek sien ook ‘n kondisie waaraan baie van ons lei. GEHEUE… ons vergeet te maklik agv ons ongeloof. Ons het nodig om ons geloof te vestig in God se Woord.
Die vroue kom by die dissipels en vertel hulle wat hulle gesien en gehoor het, maar hulle het hulle nie geglo nie. Want dit het geklink soos fairy tales. Hoe kan dit wees? Ons het dan gesien hoe Jesus sterf. Ons is nog besig om die hartseer te verwerk en te rou. Moenie met ons kom speel nie. Moenie vir ons nonsens vertel nie.
John 11:25-26
25 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. 26 Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
Ek weet die dood is nie lekker nie en ons mis die mense wie ons aan die dood af gestaan het. Maar hier gee die Here vir ons die belofte dat ons vir altyd sal lewe, mits ons in Hom bly en in Hom glo. Die dood is net ‘n deur na die ewigheid. Daarom is dit belangrik om ons verhouding so te bou met God dat ons Jesus, die DEUR, sal ken en ‘n verhouding met Hom sal hê.
My vraag aan jou en my vandag is, LEEF ONS IN HOM en GLO ONS IN HOM?
1 Cor 15:12-22
12 But tell me this—since we preach that Christ rose from the dead, why are some of you saying there will be no resurrection of the dead? 13 For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless. 15 And we apostles would all be lying about God—for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. But that can’t be true if there is no resurrection of the dead. 16 And if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins. 18 In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! 19 And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. 20 But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died. 21 So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man. 22 Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life
Die Kruis en die Opstanding is ‘n eenheid van God se Liefde aan elke mens. Sonder die kruis oorheers die sonde ons lewe en sonder die opstanding kan wedergeboorte nie plaasvind nie. Dis deur die opstanding dat ons ‘n nuwe lewe saam met God kan geniet. Ons word weer gebore in die gees.
Jesus se opstanding gee vir ons die genade van God om ons lewe so te leef dat ons Hom verheerlik.
1 Pet 1:3-9
3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, 4 and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. 5 And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. 6 So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. 7 These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. 8 You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. 9 The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.
Die opstanding is nie ‘n fairy Tale nie. Daar is te veel getuies wat oor die jare kan getuig oor die opstandings krag van Jesus. Die Woord van God is net te waar om enige iets anders te wees. GLO in God. GLO Sy woord en sien hoe ‘n werklike God vir jou lewe gee.
Jesus se opstanding was regtig egtig!!!!
